Bought for my wife’s Christmas. My wife only drinks decaf, so after much research I bought this machine. Intention was that she could used decaf beans and I would use the ground coffee option for caffeinated coffee for myself and others. After 2 weeks I realised I had not had a caffeinated hot drink for 2 weeks (I was using the coffee machine regularly to master it, so hadn’t had any tea). Firstly the machine looks great and of good quality. I struggle to remove the water tank because it was stiff and I thought it would break. Went online and discovered this was a common issue, but solved by pulling it out from bottom. It still stiff now after 3 weeks of daily use, but we can all do it now. It’s easy to “personalise L” the various drink options and the milk frother works exceptionally well. Drinks are also hot. 2 main issues are that 1) I drink black coffee with the occasional cappuccino- the black coffee always seems weak and muddy in colour. I’ve messed with the grind size, and use different beans but it doesn’t make much difference. 2) I can’t get the ground coffee option to work at all- it’s easy enough to select, but the coffee just comes out like dirty water. I need to contact the supplier/ go online to see if I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t think I am.

Happy with service and product

Would buy from this company again, very prompt and efficient service. Bought this machine to replace Gaggia Amina Prestige. Very pleased with it. Easy to use, has all the functions of my previous machine but is a better design. My only criticism is that the water container is a little stiff to remove, I’m assuming this will loosen over time.

The machine is great. Very straightforward to use and produces great coffee. I cannot fault the service provided by Coffee Direct. The item was despatched the same day and delivered the next.
