Italian Coffee

A must have in the coffee cabinet at all times, rich deep fresh flavor

Not much to say about this coffee. I would class it as a ‘safe’ coffee in that you can’t argue with it but you also can’t eulogise about it. In other words I find it pretty mediocre and bland. Have tried it as double shot espressos and cappuccinos and it doesn’t alter my opinion of it being a bit boring (better as cappuccino). The price is its only saving grace. Two and a half stars out of five as this one sits on the fence.

We’ve been buying the Italian roast coffee from coffee direct for 8 years or so. The quality of the coffee never waivers, we’ve never thought about going anywhere else. We prefer the darker roast coffees, more like the traditional cafes in Europe, but even better. Deliveries are always on time and when you need to reschedule, it’s really easy. We couldn’t recommend them enough, top quality coffee and an equally impressive service.
