Alpine Explorer

The fit is a bit off — the chest area is noticeably loose (even though my dog wears a medium in Gooby with no issues). The jacket itself is well-made and nicely thick, but the stiffness causes the body to stick up instead of hugging my dog’s shape. I like the material enough to keep it, but I’ll need to make a small alteration so it straps more securely on my dog.

Sizing

My terrier mix is in between sizes. The large fits but is a little loose and long. Just a touch. The med is a close fit. I kept the med because he doesn’t necessarily like to wear a jacket so I figured the colors fit would be better. I have other jackets that fit him perfectly from this company but I needed the handle feature as he is recovering from IVDD. Easy return policy and well made products.

Loving the Alpine Explorer

We love it and more importantly Maisie loves it. We live in the cold and rain and it keeps her cozy and dry. It's easy to get on and off plus she is comfortable.
