DIY Velcro Bird Collar Pattern Feather Plucking Fix

The pattern was easy to use and the instructions clear and easy to follow! I got the small but I had to alter it a lot to fit my Caique parrot, I made the neck opening slightly larger and I made the collar so it fanned out only half the size of the pattern. My parrot couldn’t walk without tripping over it at the normal size. But even at half size it keeps him from being able to reach his feathers. I also discovered that if I put it on him upside down (so the fanned out part is under the stiffer part) he is less likely to get the Velcro undone and get it off.
