Sock Buddy Bird Sweater for Plucking Pattern

Hi Diane. The sock cover pattern is a great idea and using diabetic socks made me feel I had the best fabric. I was extremely surprised to see that the cuff of the sock actually is leather and I have used it in the neck tube collar. It's soft & unstable. Certainly not usable for a severe chewer but I looked real hard and my U2 isn't mutilating, she's only removing her down. The feathers she breaks aren't pulled from the skin (yet). I've been pleased with the Red Palm Oil but do wish I could give her real palm nuts. Living in Florida, there must be nuts here but I don't know how to select them. Thank you for your help. I will try to giv you a picture of her lovely new cape, vet approved.
