Quick to germinate!

These germinated in four days, after I planted the seeds in transparent seed starting trays, with MiracleGro seed starting mix, under grow lights and with heat mats. I always have difficulty thinning the seedlings that crowd each pod, so I usually pick out the extras and re-plant them in new seed starting pods, where they thrive. My daughter grew these in her garden last year and I'm excited to have them in mine. They're lovely.

No Germination

I plant Comsos annually and am experienced in sowing and maintaining seeds/seedlings/flowers. I had one cosmos emerge this year, and I am very disappointed. I spent close to $200.00 on my May order with Eden Brothers, and except for one pack of zinnias, I have had a very poor showing. It is an awful feeling to spend hours planting and tending your garden to have nothing grow. This has never happened any other year.
