The Original (Carbon)

For about 9 to 10 months, these were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever owned. Then, about 2 months ago I began to notice pressure at the area where the heel meets the mid foot (right shoe only). After reading about their insole replacements, I bought those a few days ago. However, that has not helped. Therefore, I can only conclude that the sole has broken down after less than a year. While I expect that from running or walking shoes, my casual and dress shoes generally last for many years. I loved these for 10 months but that's over now.

A Perfect Blend of Style and Comfort

I received my pair of The Original AmberJack's in Carbon Italian Suede, and was immediately impressed from the moment I opened the box. The Shoes, and box were in immaculate condition and came with a high quality dust bag to protect my shoes and prevent dust buildup while in my closet. I have owned a few pairs of shoes that are often discussed as comparable brands to Amberjack including Cole Haan, but if I'm being honest I prefer these to my Cole Haans. Pros/Cons: Pros: These shoes might be the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. Often times I feel like I'm wearing sneakers and forget that I'm wearing dress shoes all together. The Italian Suede works well with a variety of styles and these shoes fit the part whether I am wearing business casual or more dressy attire. I will for sure be buying more from AmberJack. Small Cons: When I originally put these on I did experience some very slight rubbing on the back of my right heel, but I was very surprised how quickly the shoes seemed to acclimate to my feet, and that rubbing subsided within an hour or two. At the end of the day the shoes are just great, and it's hard to find an issue with them.

Bought for my guys for Christmas. I'm pleasantly surprised that they all fit and everyone agrees that they are really quite comfortable! Rare.
