Stoneground Whole Red Wheat Flour

This is my Third bag. I love that is it freah milled from high quality red wheat. Makes my sourdough bread taste wonderful when mixed 50-50 with unbleached bread flour.

Baking bread with whole red wheat

My first time with red wheat making sourdough bread. The reddish flecks in the bread relieve the usual stern greyness of my 3:2 white to whole wheat mix. I like it! The flavor is great, the crumb fine and attractive. I'm a convert.

I love it but hate the shipping.....would have to love it to pay the shipping..I use it for my homemade buns from my Mothers recipe I wrote a cookbook "Happiness is Homemade in Door County"
