Lots of sunflowers. One of the other flowers is vining and climbs the sunflowers. Looking forward to them blooming!

Plant sunflowers first

This year the mix resulted in a thick planting of mostly morning glories. The sunflowers did not do well. The firecracker vines bloom later, and I would like more of them. Next year I am going to separate out the sunflower seeds and plant them first, keeping them well watered until they are a few inches high, then plant the vine seeds. Or, I might buy separate packets of the sunflowers, firecracker vine, and morning glories.

I'm sad to say that the flower mixes I bought this year have had very poor germination. I did not fertilize as per the recommendation, so I know that's part of it. But it has been disappointing.
