Pleasantly surprised

Over the past two months I've purchased 3 16TB drives to go in my 'NAS' and I've been pleasantly surprised. I knew (unhelpfully) the discs would have their SMART data erased but the manufacturing dates on them were no more than 18 months old and they were supplied well packaged and in sealed antistatic bags and appeared new. They work fine (once you put tape over pin 3 as expected / normal). People have complained about the noise, but I really don't notice it. Possibly because they are in a server under my desk. They run cooler then other, older discs which is partly the reason for buying them. Overall very satisfied at the £160 I paid for them.

Well packaged, Look new

Received the 5 drives today and they were very well packaged. Each drive had its own padding and some extra padding was added so there was no wiggle room. Each HDD was in a sealed anti-static bag. Only using one right now but not seen any problems. Will use the rest next week.
