Light Grey Alligator (Padded) Leather Strap

Can't wait to see how this develops a patina over time

The strap I received is more of a light earthy taupe with shades of ivory/bone. It is a bit porous and any rubbing or contact with skin, and even my leather storage bag, burnishes it, imparting interesting textural elements to the scales, highlighting the patterns on the leather. I did not have a watch in mind when I bought this. I wanted to see first-hand what premium quality alligator is like in an unusual colour so it was a very pleasant surprise when I put it on my Bausele Gallipoli commemorative. I love the way it complements and brings out the features of the watch without overpowering it.

Beautiful colour

The light grey is more of an off-white / bone color but looks fantastic when contrasting against white indices. Craftsmanship superb as always from Artisan

Light Grey Alligator Strap

Beautiful strap but the colour was different to what I anticipated. An email to the Artisan Strap team and instructions for a return and refund sent back, no fuss. Will purchase instead the Himalayan Croc Strap instead to replace as soon as the return clears. Great product and even better customer service!!
