Black sailcloth signature strap - more comfortable than I expected

I bought this strap for my Tissot Heritage 1973 chronograph. The original leather strap felt cheap and uncomfortable and the butterfly clasp never felt very secure. One day the clasp undid itself, causing the watch to fall onto a tiled floor and smash the crystal. Whilst it was being repaired I went online to source a replacement strap. The Tissot is not an expensive watch so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a strap from a certain well-known Australian company. I checked out the Delugs products and online reviews were positive so I opted for a black sailcloth strap. I haven't worn a watch with a rubber strap for many years, because my previous experience was hot, sweaty, itchy and uncomfortable after a few hours. The Delugs sailcloth strap looked pretty good online and the price was rmuch more reasonable than the local equivalent. More importantly, other people were praising its comfort and fit. I installed the strap as soon as it arrived and wore the watch to work. The strap felt softer and more flexible than those I had in the past. After 12 hours on my wrist in fluctuating temperatures I had no issues at all. It was instantly comfortable and stayed that way for the whole day. Most of the time I didn't feel it at all, which was a pleasant surprise. It moulded itself to my wrist straight away, stayed in place, didn't dig in anywhere and didn't catch on my shirt cuff. I bought a plain black strap so it's unobtrusive and unexciting, yet boringly reliable. It's the Toyota Corolla of watch straps. Great comfort and great value for money. I'm obviously happy with my strap, but I would also like to compliment Delugs on their impeccable customer service. The packaging was very good - neat, tidy and well protected for international shipping. The order was shipped promptly and arrived surprisingly quickly via DHL. Delugs sent through plenty of detailed updates at each stage of the process. The whole experience was efficient, courteous and enjoyable. I will be back for more.

Looks great and super comfortable paired it with the Delugs deployment clasp, very happy. Already thinking of another color for another watch.
