Enjoying grill
Still getting used to cooking on this flat top, but it heats evenly (though it takes 20-30 minutes to heat up properly on my BBQ). So far, all I've cooked has come out well. Cleaning has been pretty easy, but again, getting used to using it. Expect, over time, will use the flat top extensively, especially when the Arizona summer gets cooler. Definitely well built.

The quality of this flat top is top notch. I wanted something that I didn't have to worry about warping and I don't believe this unit would warp if you tried. It is much thicker than most flat tops and is very heavy. Also the customer service is excellent!

Pretty Great So Far!
Two years ago I upgraded my very tiny backyard to add a cocktail pool and small outdoor kitchen. I didn't have room for a dedicated flat top so I needed something that would insert into my existing gas grill. A few failed products later I almost gave in and bought a Blackstone (with no real idea where'd I'd fit it!). Then I found Steelmade. This thing comes as advertised - it is heavy, well crafted, and you can see the quality the second you unbox it. I've used it three times so far, once for Hibachi, once for Smashburgers, and once for Hotdogs and Turkey burgers all to tremendous results. Previous products would not allow Smashburgers to get that crunchy crust at all so I gave up on making those at home. The cleanup is easy too. My only small complaint is that the slots on the Pro version are big enough for food to fall through and I lost a couple of pieces of steak and some rice doing hibachi ;-) Other than that, this is likely the best griddle insert for an outdoor grill on the market today.
