Does the trick!
Just bought this for my Trek Checkmate. Pretty crazy that the first-party mount does not fit the Garmin Edge, so shootout to K-Edge!
You can ignore the other reviewer who says you also need the spacer for it to fit the Edge. It fits perfectly right out of the box. Reference photos attached.

Great Quality, Misleading Garmin Edge 1050 Fit Info
I received my K-Edge holder, and the quality is solid. However, the website's info is misleading—it claims the Garmin Edge 1050 fits, but it doesn’t if you adjust the mount to its max. You need the offset spacer, which isn’t mentioned as necessary. I’m frustrated and disappointed; they should recommend the spacer upfront to avoid this and the extra shipping costs I’ll now face.
