Much more than a replacement! It’s peace at mind! Similar to having a spare tire for your car, having a spare prop for your kayak is no different! It’s not just a replacement. It’s good overall maintenance. After using a motor it’s always a good idea to check for line or levitation that could be twisted up in your prop but it’s also a great idea to check for unordinary chips and cracks as it can be vital for safety and performance!
