Very Well Built Gloves!
I just received my order of Bethel gloves in Moss/Sand and I like them very much. I will have to defer my review of their insulating qualities until winter (It's July). Upon examination of them, they are very well constructed. I find the fit very good (my size is M). The leather palm and fingers give very good griping capability. The gauntlet extends to mid forearm, providing a very good overlap between gloves and jacket and preventing snow/wind to get into your hands/wrist and forearm, keeping you warm and dry. There are two means to adjust the fit of your gloves, one is the strap across the wrist and the other is a stretch cord at the end of the gauntlet. Little things that make these gloves standout are the no-lose straps in each glove (very valuable in the back country and white outs where your gloves can decide your fate) and the additional loop on the outside that can be used for the same purpose or customized by the wearer. Also the clip used to keep the gloves together when your not using them or have them loaded in your pack; ensures that you have two gloves (this is a small thing, but these are things that matter in the cold or in an emergency). Not withstanding, these gloves are made domestically and locally. I cannot say enough good about them and look forward to using them this winter. Highly Recoomended!

they are very large!
The gloves appear to be very well made. However, the size was not what I expected. I did the measurements as advised on the website and when I got them - the size large I ordered seemed VERY LARGE. Sadly, I had to send them back for a refund. I'll try another time.

Ok but expected better
Purchased these gloves to replace a set of Hestras. Based on marketing hype, on-line reviews and social media posts, I expected the gloves to be stellar performers. Well not so much.
The gloves fall short in warmth.
Used them on several recent NH ski days with temps in the teens and windy. Hands/fingers got cold in a short period of time, an unpleasant surprise. Gloves should be fine for warmer (above 20F) days, but would not recommend for days in the teens or lower.
The gloves are well constructed, comfortable and made in the US (a plus). They allow for good finger dexterity, much better than Hestra's. This is important to me, otherwise would have gone with mittens. The larger cuffs do keep out blowing snow.
