The Loden Green Anorak©

Really happy with the super quality and look of my Loden Anorak.I ordered the special trim on the cuffs and waist and it looks amazing. It will be a very warm garment when I travel in the forests of Nova Scotia this winter. I have previously ordered the Canvest,theWool Vest, the Rough Vest and the Raglan jacket and all of these products are handmade with super quality wool and canvas.Shout out to Andy and his staff for jobs well done. Should have bought sooner!

Beautiful woods wear. The hood and neck are designed in a way that will you keep you incredibly warm.. Heirloom quality gear. If you are a layering type, I would error on the side of going larger. I ordered a large and wish I had gone extra large. I am not overweight by any stretch, weigh 165 lbs. The large is a little snug around the back of my shoulders!

Old School Quality

I have wanted to buy this for the last couple of years but finally did in February of 2026, just before the blizzard hit in New England. So far, I have only worn it cleaning the driveway and a little bit around town after that. But it is now my winter go-to. I am so glad that I purchased it. It is incredibly warm (I have yet to wear it with more than a short sleeve cotton T shirt underneath in 18°F windy weather). The wool is very dense, yet unbelievably, not itchy at all. The fit is perfect (3XL), it extends to about mid-thigh, adding to its warmth. The sleeves are just the right length (I was most worried about them being too long). The 3-piece hood is plenty large, and the chin protection is unparalleled. The kangaroo front pocket is enormous and adds an additional layer of wool to the front area. Its overall construction is uncommonly very good. It is made so that it won’t fail when needed most. No zippers, just lacings (looks more like para-cord) with cord locks. I recommend giving Andy a call, he will answer all your questions and walk you through sizing. He is extremely helpful. If you are on the fence about purchasing this, do yourself a favor, speak with Andy, make your selection, and purchase it. As others have said, it is very much worth it.
