Northstar Glove | Ash

I have only used these gloves once and they passed the test of keep my hands warm and dry. I used them for waterfowl hunting. Every pair of gloves I have owned that were supposedly waterproof soaked through and difficult to impossible to get hands back in once wet. These gloves allowed for easy on and off even with wet hands. They are generally too bulky for waterfowl hunting and will only be used in extreme conditions. I do intend to bring them on my back country caribou hunting trip this fall.

Nice warm gloves, I like the grippy palm and fingers. I personally prefer a tight wrist cuff designed to go under the jacket rather than the large cuffs these have to designed to go over the jacket but these do work well. The only reason no 5 stars is that they lack dexterity, hopefully that will improve with more use.

Warming drawer

These are great gloves and really keep your hands very ward. The fit is great and I can still feel my hands to do what I need to do. I am not a hunter, but live in the country, so they will get a lot of use.
