Peony Roots-Coral Bouquet

Hello. I ordered your peony roots without doing much in the way of research. I planted them right away after receiving them in late spring....much too late to be planting them. But your communications said that it would be ok. Only one has grown a tiny plant. Later a friend told me that you should only plant peony's in the fall. So I really regret not waiting to plant until fall. I was also surprised that you would ship them to me knowing that our peony planting season had already passed. Would you consider sending them again so that I can plant them in the fall? I am in central Missouri. Thank you.

Did not come up

I ordered these peonies in the spring and they arrived at the correct time in the fall just as they were supposed to. I was impressed with that. But, I planted them in the fall as instructed when they arrived and it is now mid-April with no signs of life. While my other older peonies are now around 10 inches tall, I have seen no growth from these roots.

Damaged root

I received a broken root; I planted anyways but got no growth. Other peonies I've planted have sprouted and grown. Also nothing comes labeled; it's impossible to plan the color arrangement in the garden.
