Daylilyies in hot dry New Mexico

Hello! I planted two batches of 5 at slightly different times - probably May and June. I had maybe two blossoms. I did amend the soil, and these are in a partly shaded area. It's been a very hot, dry summer - a bit drier than usual and I do water frequently and fertilize. I am hopeful for next year.
