I bought the pack of 4, one of the four made it

Frustrated
Will start off by saying I ordered the smaller pack of 4. I was refunded because I only received 1 (although huge) root. While I greatly appreciate that this was handled in this way, I really wanted these poppies. My others from Eden Brothers have done well plus they’re my favorite flowers. When I reached out, I asked to have some additional shipped instead of the refund but they could which I understand. I decided to buy an 8 pack despite the huge price difference. It was in stock so I was excited to get these. I opened the package today to find only 4 roots. I either have the worst luck or don’t understand roots. There may have been 1 that was sort of root like but i have my doubts it’ll grow. I understand these are hand packed and I get human error, just really sucks because they cost a fortune and you still don’t get what you want.

Fingers crossed
I bought a lot of Poppy roots this year. So expensive, but I too love poppies. I followed the planting instructions that were linked on the Eden Brother's web site. It indicated that they should be planted a lot deeper than I ever have before. I hope most of them come up. If not, I'll contact Eden Bros and I know they will make it right. If most come up then I have learned an important fact about successfully planting poppies. I too have found variation in the root size in packets, but I generally feel that, taken as a whole, with the mix of super large roots and rather whimpy ones, it comes out even. I buy a lot of product from EB and I trust them. This is important because I'm landscaping my 10 acres of land following buckthron removal. If what is planted after buckthorn removal doesn't come up, one gets buckthorn back.
