Six Swamp Milkweed Roots
Purchased 6 roots this spring and started indoors. Took off so quickly and after transplanting to a new bed outside they all continued to flourish throughout the summer. They grew strong roots and self supported without staking. Similar to another reviewer mine had white flowers instead of pink color as described, though they ended up perhaps looking better in my prairie style bed and am incredibly happy with everything I’ve gotten from Eden.

White instead of pink
One of the two roots received ended up sprouting and growing well despite the drought this summer. However, the flowers are white opposed to the pink that's pictured for this variety. It is still a wonderful addition for pollinators, but a little disappointed to not have those gorgeous pink blooms in the garden.

butterfly milkweed roots
planted them , not really preparing the soil. forget how many roots we recd but one was broken off and we planted that extra piece also. we got fast, unbelievable growth, got flowers and now it is fall and we have seed pods. all of the roots grew and cannot wait until next year to see what everything will look like and hopefully see some butterflies enjoying them.
