I enjoy the Hyperfly gi I purchased; however, the brand only offers matching sets with the same size for top and bottom, which was disappointing. I loved being able to get my gi top in green and blue—those are my favorite colors. Unfortunately, I don’t fit into the pants. The only option was to size up the entire set, but that wouldn’t have worked since the pants might fit while the gi top would be far too large. As a result, I’m only able to use the gi top.
For this specific brand, even sizing up to an F4 doesn’t work for me in the pants, which is unfortunate because I really like Hyperfly. I’ve realized that I can only use their Gi tops, not the full gi set.
For reference, I weigh around 155–165 lbs, with a smaller upper body and a thicker, curvier lower body.
