nice to experience- won’t get full bottle
I really wanted to try my first le labo fragrance & The santal sounded too close to a scent I already have a full size of so I went with this Ylang. The fragrance as a whole is thick & not subtle at all but the ylang in it is a very subtle note- I was hoping for more of it. Definitely reminds me of the 1980’s & I find it similar to chateau 1970 from thin wild mercury. A nice salty closing note develops and it flourishes beautifully on the skin. this is definitely a gardenia forward fragrance with a woody middle. I’m enjoying the experience of it. I feel like I’m walking into an antique shop in a good way.

Great Experience
It took a little bit longer than I expected, but all the stuff was legit and well packed. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to try some niche fragrances.

Rich, Earthy Floral
This is a linear, rich, earthy floral. Quite thick, it projects with some slight sticky sweetness. It's noticeably earthy, even a little bit dirty especially in the opening, and has that "old world" (by that, I mean 80's) feel and smell to it. I just find Ylang 49 to be beautiful and intoxicating.
Probably not for everybody so sample first.
