Quarter Inch (1/4") Foot, SNAP-ON - SCANT

Scant? What is scant?

This foot gives me the perfect scant seam every time on my two Brother embroidery/sewing machines. I have a “scant” foot, but it isn’t consistently accurate because the foot has a large oval opening in which you move the needle to the left or right of center. With this scant foot, it only has a small single hole for the needle to go through and therefore consistent scant 1/4” seams every time especially with the metal guide.

New seam allowance is a game changer

I belong to a group of sewers that make quilts to donate/gift. They have been talking about scant 1/4 inch seam for weeks. I could not figure out how to manage that on my sewing machine. This foot is a game changer for me. I don't have to worry about whether I have it right or not, it just is! Thank you for this valuable tool!
