I had a weeklong vacation planned and normally i would just use my automatic feeders on a timer to dispense dry food to my cats while gone, but one cat recently had dental surgery and now had only 4 temaining teeth so kibble was no longer an option. I ordered 2 of these feeders, one per cat. I did not realize that the ice pack inserts were only good for cooling for up to 3 hours when I placed the order. Long story short — i came home to find the cats had only eaten 3 days worth of food, & the remaining food slots were filled with uneaten food that was crawling with baby maggots. I expected the seal of the lid on the feeders to be tighter & that each individual slot in the steel receptacle trays would be better protected when the slots were closed/covered. I was devastated that my cats couldn’t properly eat for multiple days. I was also mad at paying nearly $400 for feeders that ultimately resulted in spoiled food. What good is a 6 day feeder if the ice packs only last 3 hrs?

Game changer
I’ve been using 2 Ipettie auto feeders for about 5 months now for my 2 cats. I must say it has been a game changer. I started using them when away. The cats got used to them immediately and know the sound of the beep when the tray rotates. Now I use the feeders every day, whether home or not. It has stopped my cats largely from begging for food bc I no longer give them the food directly. The most valuable result comes from them not waking me up very early for food bc they get a 330am feeding. The app is very helpful. I use a camera to observe in case I want to push an unscheduled or early feeding to them. The feeders have been reliable with no technical issues. You must use 2g wifi (no idea why this works but we have that)

Great feeder & customer service
I have used this feeder several times and it works wonderfully. The app is a little buggy, saying you've already set a feeding when you haven't. I got great customer service when I reached out about that.
