I have not been able to get my cat to drink out of any fountain, but I bought this one hoping to give it another try, knowing how important it is for her body. Days passed, and she showed no interest in it. It's been 2 weeks, and I still haven't seen her approach it. Tonight, I decided to unplug it before going to bed because what was the point of keeping it on 24/7? Shortly after, I hear her moving something around but couldn't tell what it was, so I got up to check and she was at the fountain moving it in search of the water!! I quickly plugged it back in and stepped back to see if my suspicionwas true. Low and behold, she went straight for it!!! She's drinking water again! And come to find out she's been drinking it this whole time because the water was super low and I needed to refill it! I'm so excited to have found something that actually motivates her to drink.
