Heed the written word
While all the roots are growing, be aware it will take another 2-3 years to reach maturity. If you can’t wait spend the extra$ and buy whole plants.

Not one came up after planting in the fall.
I bought this variety and the white feather hosta roots, planted them in the fall along our dry river bed and not one plant came up in the Spring. A very expensive disappointment.
