Vibrant little beauties!
I would highly recommend fall planting on these beauties. I planted these in my front yard and am so pleased with the beautiful jewel tones I got.

Not as expected
This is the first time ever I grow ranunculus. The corms arrived fast. I called and asked to expedite as spring where I live starts in February. My general conclusion for my usda zone to plant them in fall only. I planted it same day as I received straight into the soil. They all came out! As of today, May 2nd few of the plants produced bulbs and one of them opened today (red, see photo). However, I was disappointed to see instead of a full buttercup of petals as shown in website photos, just a thin rim of petals. Fullness of ranunculus it’s the signature of the flower, so not heaving it was a disappointment.
