Alyssum Seeds - Rosie O'Day

Little beauties

Tiny seeds, but sprouted in two days, hundreds of them, and they are bright, full and growing. I was thrilled to find the Rosy O'day seeds here, and I'm thrilled again to see such little beauties all around my garden.

Pale purple

I started these in containers inside, as well as some started later in a cinder block border. The container starts germinate well but have yet to bloom after several months. I had only 2 or 3 out of 13 of the cinder block starts germinate and survive and they are now blooming in a pale purple shade.

Purple, not pink

These are beautiful and are growing great from direct sow. But, like so many of my seeds from this order, the color is not as expected.
