Pattern is easy to follow. I blocked the pieces before assembling according to the pattern dimensions, but the back was a little tight over the shirt, so I used a Velcro strip instead of snaps to prevent gaps. I wouldn’t ordinarily recommend Velcro to use with yarn, but the yarn I used was easy to remove without damage if it accidentally stuck to the Velcro.

Crocheted button wrap

The crocheted shawl was a great success as I helped my 10 year old granddaughter to crochet the shawl for her doll. It was fun doing it together. Thanks for providing that beginning crochet pattern.
