It's just a coincidence that the NYT posted a Melissa Clark recipe for "Upside-Down Blood Orange Cake" right as I was thinking about ordering some ... you can guess correctly that when they arrived, it was one of the uses they were put to. And it was delicious! They arrive lovely and tasty; go for it!

Well I sent them to my son and granddaughter so I actually never saw them or experienced them. However, my son reported that they were terrific and much better than even quality oranges bought locally. I will soon reorder for them. Neil

like a ray of sunshine

The Moro Blood Oranges are like a ray of sunshine in the middle of a snow and ice storm! They are so flavorful compared to store bought oranges. I’ve been buying these for the last few years and I’m always so excited to receive my delivery and we manage to go through them so quickly—blood orange margaritas, on toasted baguette rounds spread with sweetened ricotta and drizzled with honey, in salads. Hope to visit Pearson’s Ranch one of these days and thank them in person.
