Celeste Tween Top & Shorts

Very cute and easy

As an experienced seamstress, I was able to make everything work well. I had trouble converting the 8.5x11 print out of the pattern to full size. I didn’t really understand what pieces were on what page, or how they connected to each other. I used purchased bias tape instead of going to the trouble of making it. Also, there was no need for separate pieces for the hem facing. I simply made the bodice front and back longer. Despite these things in the end it was easy. I’d recommend reading all the instructions first, and understand what’s going on.

Absolutely LOVE the top! Made 2, one with ruffle and one without and will definitely make more. I just found the shorts way too small for the appropriate age, made the16 for a 12year old and it did not even fit over her bottom. It is a pitty because they are very pretty shorts:-)

What more can I say about this set that hasn't been said. I am so pleased with the quality of VFT patterns and the celste short has become my new favorite ! Thank you for hitting it out of the park once again VFT .
