These are my first time using a collapsible pole. I like the smaller size to fit in pack and still have ability to adjust. The handles feel awesome. They have more "feedback" imo than a fully retractable pole, but for putting in a pack they are perfect.

Backcountry Z Cork handle tracking poles

Out of the three sets of poles I’ve used these are top line. The interior cord makes them packable and you’re not worried about the pieces getting separated. It will probably be this spring before I get them out to use them, but I can’t see any reason why they won’t be awesome.
