Beautiful but flawed

The design of this briefcase is great. The three compartments are spacious enough to fit a laptop, folio and more besides. The styling is beautiful, sleek and traditional. The leather is also top quality, which is why it's so frustrating that it lacks quality on the finer details. The pins that hold the so-called "gaping frame" open failed within a week of purchase. They buckled easily as they were thin and flimsy. If you're willing to pay someone to replace them and you love the design then this might be for you. If you don't fancy either then steer well clear.

Beautiful design & great leather, but the pins that hold the gaping frame open are terrible quality and failed within a week. Considering the gaping frame is integral to the design this is a major flaw and such a shame as the briefcase is beautiful otherwise.

Present for my son

The briefcase is beautiful and he was very pleased with it and the quality. Only query is that it would have been good to have two keys. Everything from order to delivery went very well.
