Fantastic Bike

Building up my Sklar Super Something by hand was an absolute blast, and throwing a SRAM Force AXS kit on it made it the ultimate do-it-all gravel rig. The steel frame delivers an incredibly plush, comfortable ride that just floats over chunky gravel and completely saves my back on long days. But don't let the smooth ride fool you—the responsiveness is immediate, snapping forward the instant I torque the pedals and tracking beautifully through fast, loose descents. The wireless build looks incredibly clean against those classic curved tubes, and rolling out on a machine I built myself makes every single mile that much sweeter.

Still gathering parts for my build but the team at Sklar has been super responsive and helpful with any questions I’ve had about what will specific parts will and won’t work. Like super in the weeds stuff, but they have been happy and helpful the whole time!

This is my first frame up build, and I just wanted to thank Adam and Nick for answering all my questions over email! Just ripped my first ride out in SAMO and this bike is so much fun. Pumped to ride this thing all summer.
