The Hard Times Strong Men | Fire Starter Kit

I'm new to Faro Rods and firestarters etc. I found a bundle on the website that had a few things I thought would be really useful in certain circumstances. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the items in the bundle, the Stormproof Matches are super cool and the container they are stored in, has a Striker Plate on it. The Fero Rod I had to practice with but once I figured it out, I can throw sparks every strike! The pouch is nice (could be slightly bigger) but wouldn't hurt to be a little larger. I'm sure the point is that it doesn't require a lot of space, and you can neatly store your firestarter goods inside. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and would definitely consider frequenting the website again for future needs!

Ended up buying a Molle bag to fit everything, and the idea to mount the bag on a panel inside a vehicle but used the rubber patch to identify the bag. Will use the smaller bag that was with the kit for hikes. Should be a good thing to have for camping and/or emergency situations.

Guys, this is the best thing for your bug-out bag or camping gear: it's insanely portable, it's compact, but most of all: IT WORKS. All the photos and videos you see online? Totally the real story - the plugs and the rope light with simple sparks from the ferro rod (and that thing makes a TON of sparks) and will light under any condition. I plan on being a life-long customer for these folks. Great product - simply cannot recommend it enough. - Steve Rogers
