Bought this as a gift, opened it to check it out and make sure it was not damaged in shipping. Upon inspection, it is very impressive with the packaging with every aspect of it. Gives it a very high end and high quality look. When you open it, you get a very pleasant smell from all of the teas. I am sure the person I bought it for will be impressed.

Like the quality and presentation of gift box. Disliked the tea cakes. The tea itself was decent, but they were overly and artificially scented with flavors, which overpowered the delicate flavors of the tea. I also disliked the weakness of the tea when brewed, having to double both the brewing time and the cakes to extract any tea flavor at all. I suspect my tea was old or expired. Because the cakes were extremely dry. I am a tea consumer. And I do like high quality and expensive teas. Spend the same amount of money on any decent oolong or pur'er tea and you will get 100x the brewed product with way more flavor and quality. If you're buying for someone that only drinks tea occasionally and someone who is used to artificially flavored coffee or tea bags, then this may be worth the price for the quality of the presentation. The tea strainer is beautiful, but it is thin. I doubt it will hold up past one year with heavy use. I also got a free tea tumbler. It's ok.
