We ordered the grateful eight bed and it seems good quality but it is definitely firm and not medium. Please note that when you purchase the bed you are offered two free pillows with a value of $400. If you choose to return the bed the $400 is taken off your return and you can not return the pillows. That with the 10% taken off for return puts you out a lot of money. So if you are going to get the bed thinking you can return it, do not accept the “free pillows”. We ended up buying a topper from a different company.

Organic Latex with Just the Right Amount of Support

I've had my Essentia Grateful Eight queen size for a bit over a month. I had a different organic foam mattress that was just too firm and hurt my hip and shoulder. I sleep mostly on my side, and sometimes on my back. For me, the firmness of the Grateful Eight is just about right. While it could be a little bit softer, it also provides great support without the wake-me-up discomfort and I sleep better than I have in a while. With a 20 year warranty, I don't expect that support to disappear in a couple of years. If you like a firm mattress, but that still has a decent amount of springiness to it, I can recommend this mattress without hesitation. If you want something a little softer, or a little firmer, you can double check with customer support like I did, and they can help you pick your ideal organic mattress.
