Bill Evans Trio - Sunday At The Village Vanguard - Pure DSD

Spectacular sound! Between HDTT's remastering work and these albums being in the DSD format the sound is splendid. Some of the albums were downloaded also in an optional FLAC format but in all cases in this batch I'm enjoying the sound of DSD over the FLAC versions. (Sony HAP-Z1ES connected to a Topping D90iii Discrete DAC, Schitt Freya+ preamp, Audio Research D200 amp, Hyperion Audio 968 speakers) The dynamics and lifelike sound quality on these albums are particularly wonderful.

I think I have about 6 or 7 different original and re-mastered versions of this album. I hesitated buying yet another, but I have to say that this version tops them all! It was definitely worth the money.
