I've had my inshore Triumph rod now for about 2 months purchased the 7ft MH. Put on a stradic 4000 and have been having a amazing season from trigger fish on the jetty to bouncing bucktails at mouth of inlet for fluke caught my 1st double digit fluke this year have been amazed at the sensitivity and backbone of this rod got to test it last week while fluke fishing had a 18lb bluefish slam my bucktail was able to land it quickly very happy with my purchase strongly recommend St croix rods I have 8

I have always been a fan of St. Croix rods. The oldest ones I have must be 20 year and are still going strong, and have caught more fish than I can think of. So when it came time to replace a few rods of another brand, I went right to St. Croix. While I know the model I purchased isn't their top-end models, these rods are fantastic. They cast very well, have already caught a bunch of fish and look forward to using them each time. Ordering direct from St. Croix isn't as fast as running over to my local dealer, but when they are on sale at St. Croix it's a no brainer.

Compared to my Fenwick IMG Inshore’s, which were cheaper, these are a few steps down. They’re OK, but I expected better.
