So far so good I just got it so it'll take a good summer of use to see what it's like at the end of the season but right now it's really smooth I paired it with a trika 7 ft 3 in light power fast action rod it was a perfect match for it it balances out very good I have four other carbon x reels and they've all been good had them for a couple years and they're still in great shape

wanted to like this reel because it looks great and feels lightweight, but my first impression is mixed. The Piscifun Carbon X3 3000 is smooth enough and casts well, but overall it feels kind of cheap compared to other reels in this price range. The materials and overall build quality don’t inspire a lot of confidence, especially for saltwater use. Only time will tell how well it holds up against corrosion and regular exposure to the elements. My biggest disappointment has been Piscifun customer service. Communication has been poor, responses are slow or nonexistent, and my requests were mostly ignored. Good customer support matters when buying fishing gear, especially if problems come up later. For casual use it may be okay, but at this price I expected a more solid feel and much better support after the sale.
