BAUER X-LP SKATE SENIOR

Got these for my hubs d. He wears size 10 in men’s shoes. His rental skates size ranged from 7 to 8 in Reidells. His Bauer size came out to 7. 5, fit 3 but since these are beginner skates that only come in standard width I got him size 8. He skated with them right out of the box. He’s a beginner recreational skater and doesn’t intend to play hockey. I just got tired of hearing him complain about the rental skates. No complaints about these skates. I bought my daughter a used pair of these skates. She only ever wore figure skates (Jackson Mystique). She cried the first time she skated in them. I told her to keep trying. By her next skate she didn’t want to go back to her figure skates. Now I tell her to alternate so she doesn’t forget how to skate with a toe pick. I think alternating between figure and hockey skates has improved her skating.
