Lovely dress but issue with zipper?

Lovely dress and stunning print. I returned it because I have to agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned the zipper. While the dress fit comfortably, I wasn't able to zip up the dress comfortably; I feared I would break the zipper if I tried.

Quality & beauty, with some fit concerns. Best for slim waist, small ribbed women.

Quality made dress, beautiful touches. However, this dress seemed to be unusually tight in the rib cage area (there is a side zipper up the rib cage, rather than stretchy smocking all around). I wish that it was just smocking or perhaps a wider waist. Also, the shoulder girth/arm holes could be a bit more forgiving. I might try a medium, but unsure if even that will zip.

I really like the shape of this dress; The skirt is fuller, thick modest straps, and a flattering waist. It is comfortable and the print is stunning. I really wish I was able to wear a bra though and I would not buy another one because of that.
