I bought 2 of these assuming that coming from hillco, they'd be much better than anything I could build myself. Other than wax-dipping, that is not true. They are very cheaply made and didnt even survive shipping. I had to rebuild both traps (and not by stapling into the ends of plywood!)
But saying "other than wax-dipping" for hillco is like saying "other than Patrick Mahomes" for the Kansas city chiefs. Wax dipping is pretty important!
So, even tho I was disappointed in the construction quality, i still might buy again and just assume I'll spend $5 fixing it.

Poor quality for the price
I received two swarm traps yesterday and honestly the quality is quite poor. They are made out of cheap plywood with knot holes and blemishes. The nails securing the handles had pulled out on one of them. There appears to be very minimal wax on them as well. Seem overpriced for what you get.
