Why did I wait!

This tea is wonderfully smooth and delicious. I purchased it with several other teas awhile ago.... Why did I wait to try this one. Highly recommend! No flavors just real tea.

Like a very fine wine

I just had my first cup of Golden tips Assam tea. I am an Assam tea lover and I have had thousands of cups of tea. My journey started on my vacation to London where I stopped in to Fortnum and Mason for lunch and had a pot of tea. I knew nothing about tea. I enjoyed that tea so much I had to find out what made it so good. I found out it was a blend of Assam tea called Queen Anne. Fast forward to more than a decade later and with the internet I was able to find pure Assam tea and I have been buying different brands and enjoying them all. Some more than others. I don’t remember how I happened upon Herbs and Kettles website but here I am finishing my second cup of Golden tips Assam tea. Just when I thought I had tasted the best of the best tea I have ever tasted along comes this Golden Tips Assam. This experience started with opening the container of tea to find the freshest whole leaf tea leaves with such a great smell and softness I had ever thought possible. My cup holds 10oz so I put 5gm of tea in my pot and added 10oz of filtered boiling water and since I like it strong I let it brew for 5 minutes. The first sip was a whole new experience for me. It was so delicious. The flavor and the mouthfeel were the absolute best I have ever had. The images that went through my head of the people growing and harvesting this tea just added to the experience. I have found my favorite Assam tea. The only drawback is I only have a small amount. I guess I will have to be very mindful of every sip. I’m so thankful I found this tea and highly recommended it.
