I bought this not as a replacement to fit on a pedestal but to stand alone on a wall. It was a matte finish instead of glazed which makes it harder to clean so I inquired about a sealer that would be safe for birds. FlexSeal Clear was recommended so that's what I used. All is good.

Needed a top for an antique base

The lovely salesperson, April was able to find me a top the would fit on the antique base I bought at auction. She actually went into the warehouse to find one since it was a discontinued line! With the sticking strips it is holding together fine.
