Kaida zx320 Tenkara Pack Rod

First Rod

Got the Kaida as my first rod with the goal of using it out backpacking. The rod has been great and allowed me to catch my first rainbow trout. Customer Service has been great with having Brent answer a question I had about some products.

Very happy with 1st tenkara rod

I received this rod 2 days ago and finally got out to a local reservoir to try it out today. I was just fishing for bluegill (no trout at this location) and landed 2 despite overwhelming wind conditions, and the precision and feel of this rod was incredible. Well done!

Review of Purchase

To be fair, I have not yet used the rod due to Maine's open water fishing restrictions (Apr 1st open date for streams) thus the 4 star rating BUT I can say that the rod came well packaged, the tube and sock are great, and the rod itself came in one piece and was as easy to assemble as advertised. I have fly fished for 45 years and I can safely say that this rod is well made, fits my hand well, and feels wonderful to use. I would recommend this rod and DRAGONtail Tenkara to any and all people who are interested in tenkara fishing.
