Tenkara Kit

All waters that have fish willing to hit to fly I'm throwing them.

I'm happy with the Tenkara Kit I purchased. It comes with what's needed to get started with little guess work. I like the small compartment that stores the includes three flies. The pouch is light weight and allows you to keep what you need while keeping the setup simple and effective.

The kit seemed like a truly great value. I will call it an ok value at best. The only thing that doesn’t feel disgustingly cheap is the line/fly holder and the tapered line. But only time will tell on that. The forceps are a pain to open which may or may not get better with use. Everything came super scuffed and dirty almost like it was a kit someone returned it and their QC department didn’t even look and just sent it back through. This is the 2nd order I’ve made from this company where I’ve been disappointed. I recently bought the big book to discover the front cover was bent and the back cover was torn. If you’re looking to buy anything from Tenkara USA, it seems like you’re better off to buy it from a local dealer if you have one rather than direct.

I bought two rods. he Satori rod is great. The Sato's distal tip of the second to last telescoping extension is broken and split in half which is disappointing, however, their customer service was great and helped me unjam the rod.
