Button doesn't work

The NACS to NACS cable works great as an extension cord, and gives a lot of flexibility when charging my Model Y from my Tesla wall charger at home. Unfortunately the button on the connector doesn’t seem to work, as others have noted. It will not open the charge port, and if pressed to disconnect from the car it causes the car to indicate an error. Fortunately the app and car controls work to disconnect the cable as usual. A2Z were unable to offer any help, other than to say they are looking into this.
